  • Condition: This Brown and Sharpe 571 Super Vernier Caliper 12" comes in its velvet lined Wood Case and its original Cardboard Box. The caliper is in MINT CONDITION and the wood case and cardboard box are in fair condition. The right side end of the wooden case is missing small pieces of wood. (see picture) The caliper works perfectly. However it could use some lubricant on the beam as we have not cleaned or restored this tool in any manner. We leave those decisions up to the eventual buyer. (see pictures) There are no previous owner’s names or ID markings on this caliper. However there is someone's name written in black marker on the outside lit of the wooden case and on the top of the cardboard box. Again we have not tried to clean them off as we leave those decisions up to the eventual buyer. The carboard box also has a hand written date of 12/07/23.
