Made of real stainless steel hardened Chromeplated, fine ground and polished, each product has a serial number to control the quality Professional precision measuring tool for industrial use (particularly on metal workpieces), totally different from DIY hand measuring one (like any carbon steel caliper, which is not good to measure metal workpieces bacause of the low hardness)

Though digital calipers are easy to read because of the screen, machinic ones (vernier calipers) are more reliable! This is why vernier calipers and dial ones still exist after digital ones appeared.
