    weight at  only 5.4 lbs,
    stainless steel, high quality, and very gently used  measuring instrument.
    Comes packed in custom 3/4" thick wood case.

    The Bar has an internal adjustable
    truss rod adjustment plus the rear stationary jaw is removable for length and straightness adjustments and calibration. The bar alone without the jaws measures
    1.17" wide x .40" thick and 49 3/4" long.
    The Jaws - Maximum clearance to bar 4-7/8". The ID - OD Measuring tips are .393" square, the inside diameter measurement resting steps are .795" deep.
    Inspection Quality Assurance Calibrations maintained with last known certification in 1998. Lightly used while in a final inspection environment. Unused and stored since 2000. I can not find a brand name or country of origin anywhere on this item. If someone looking at this has a clue as to the brand, or manufacturer please send me a message please. I found  7 - 259 stamped on the back of the stationary jaw. This unique vernier caliper precision measuring instrument is heavy duty, light weight (5.4lbs), precision, full calibration adjustable with truss rod and removable stationary jaw.Unique 3 piece design.
